Huckleberry Finn Question?

Okay, so I'm not one of those people that didn't read the book and has to turn in a paper and needs 10 questions answered before tomorrow. I actually read the book. But I do have a question. How does Huck create a real identity for himself? This question makes no sense to me. I've read it over and over and I still can't figure it out. Does he ever actually create a real identity? By the end of the book he's ready to head west and escape being civilized again, which would just make him create a new identity. I'm just confused. If someone could explain it to me that'd be great. Thanks!
